What began with just $550, a leap of faith, and a single mom’s dream has transformed into one of the region’s most inspiring small business success stories.
Rebecca L. Olson, EA, founded High Tower Accounting in 2012 after hearing what she describes as a divine calling. Just three months into her journey, she secured a fully furnished office space with all utilities included—a blessing that would serve as home base for her growing company for the next decade. Remarkably, Olson operated debt-free throughout those years, and in 2023, she purchased the building she once leased.
Over the past 12 years, High Tower Accounting has expanded to two locations and now employs 11 professionals. The firm proudly serves more than 1,200 clients each month, drawing business from seven surrounding counties into Broken Arrow’s Rose District.
“Our average annual growth rate has been 60%,” Olson said. “But what’s more rewarding is how many families and small businesses we’ve been able to support along the way.”
Olson believes that the same spirit and opportunity that fueled her journey is in the Wagoner community. Her vision: to help cultivate an environment where new ideas and developing ventures can thrive.
Her impact hasn’t gone unnoticed. Olson has earned numerous a awards over the years, in which she continues giving thanks to the goodness of the Lord for. Some of those awards include:
– 2021 Small Business of the Year
– 2022 People of the Year, Best Accountant
– 2023 Best of the World, Best in Burbs
– 2023 Community Advocate of the Year nominee
– 2024 Unsung Hero Award by WRAP
At the heart of her work is a commitment to “incubate dreams,” encouraging others to believe that with even a mustard seed of faith, perseverance and purpose, anything is possible.
“A place to start and a place to grow.”
